Jim Reddekopp shows a vanilla plant growing on a tree and stake-- it looks rather vine like. Unfortunately it was not the season for the plant to be in bloom.

Jim Reddekopp (with one of his five kids--and helpers) shows a taro root that was growing on his farm, and explains how his wife would use it to make poi to feed to their children as their first baby food.
